THE OPPORTUNITYDevelopment and validation tools that work properly
with a remote access test environment allowing reliable sharing of
scarce hardware is an essential service for Professional Services
projects, while Test automation is critical for continuous
integration and continuous delivery(CI/CD). As the Technical
Operations Manager for Professional Services, you will be
responsible for helping the organization implement DevOps
strategies and methods throughout the development and deployment
process for technical solutions. You will utilize strong
interpersonal skills to lead our internal DevOps teams, monitor
project workflow, and ensure work product meets quality and
reliability standards. You will directly overseeing the
implementation, deployment, and integration of solutions, taking
responsibility for their successful delivery. You are expected to
manage all aspects of solutions deployment and technical
operations.Interface & CollaborationCollaborate with Project Teams
to define test environment, coordinate setting up tools
environments, and explore opportunities for state-of-the-art test
automation.Collaborate with Engineering and Cert Office to align
and document tools practices, coordinate tools purchases when
possible, extend maintenance renewals, and monitor license usage
and requirements.Interface with Purchasing for procurement of
project-related or general lab requirements for equipment and
software. Monitor team productivity and address issues as they
arise to ensure maximum efficiency and consistent service
experiences.Day-to-day support of customer-facing teams to ensure
all teams work towards the same goals.ResponsibilitiesDevOps
Environment Oversee the implementation, deployment, and integration
of solutions, ensuring successful delivery, high quality, and
sustainability of solutionsManage all aspects of solutions
deployment and technical operationsManage DevOps team, assigning
and monitoring workflow and ensuring quality and efficiency is
maintainedPromote DevOps strategies and implementation
goalsParticipate in automation testing and implementationProvide
oversight to DevOps engineers responsible for establishing and
maintaining remote access lab environments to support software
development teams globally.Administer software development tools
both on premises and cloud based. Be a partner to the project teams
for all development tools and support.Monitor license usage and
storage space available and recommend upgrades as required.Monitor
and purchase annual software maintenance for Services software
development tools. Continuously monitor metrics and leverage
feedback to drive continuous improvement of service practices.When
necessary, launch new initiatives and projects that improve upon
service -related processes to meet changing customer needs.Promote
a customer-centric business approach.Lab equipment and
environmentsKeep the labs well-organized and maintain inventory
records of equipment and software.Work with Corporate IT staff to
plan and coordinate growth of the labs and keep them running
smoothly.Coordinate with IT for upgrades to software, computers,
and other equipment in the lab. Test Automation and
VerificationWork with the Project Manager and Technical Lead,
identify projects where test automation is appropriate. Support the
development of the test automation framework appropriate for each
project. Perform make/buy analyses on test and reporting tools for
for the test automation environment.Research and assist with
embedded software, debug to resolve customer issues in a timely and
professional manner.Continuously monitor metrics and leverage
feedback to drive continuous improvement of service practices.When
necessary, launch new initiatives and projects that improve upon
service -related processes to meet changing customer needs.Promote
a customer-centric business approach.ABOUT YOUCore Competencies,
Demonstrated Success & QualificationsUS Person is required due to
access to an ITAR-restricted lab.Project Managemenr Experience. -
Experience using both Linux and Windows operating
systems.Demonstrated ability to delegate responsibilities while
maintaining organizational control of operationsStrong budget
development and oversight skillsInitiative to solve problems,
resourceful, service orientedAbility to make decisions
independently or as part of a teamAbility to work independently
with minimal supervisionDemonstrated ability to work with remotely

for this role's listed grade level is currently $140,000 to
$180,000 plus bonus for residents in the Greater San Diego area.
Salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of
education, experience, knowledge, skills, location and abilities of
the applicant, and equity with other team members. Employees in
this role are also eligible for the following benefits in
accordance with the terms of the Company's plans: health, dental,
vision insurance, life insurance, flex time off, eligibility to
