Job Description:

We have partnered with a manufacturing company in Oceanside in their search for a new Staff Accountant. This is a growing company in a stable industry with great benefits. The role is 100% on-site, and offers immediate growth within the role and mentorship from the CFO - especially in cost accounting. The Staff Accountant will also be working side by side with the Operations Manager and other leadership in Operations and Accounting.Responsibilities

Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
Analyze manufacturing costs/variances
Manage fixed assets
Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close scheduleQualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting in the manufacturing sector
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
