Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior GL Accountant.
Key Responsibilities

Lead close activities across multiple global entities, including preparation and review of complex journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and reconciliations
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting by applying IFRS and local GAAP, reviewing accounting treatment against group policies
Drive accounting process improvements by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and improved reconciliation quality

Required Qualifications

CPA or equivalent certification, e.g., Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
5+ years of experience in General Ledger (GL) accounting, including close ownership and financial reporting across multiple entities
Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS/local GAAP) and experience preparing for audits
Proven ability to implement and improve internal controls and process documentation
Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or FloQast, or proven capability as a power user in similar ERP systems
