Job Description:
A school district is seeking a Special Education Teacher.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and execute lessons and create a supportive work
environment
Develop and implement IEPs based on the specific needs of each
student
Assess academic and social skills of each student and inform
parents or guardians of their progress
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Special Education
New Mexico Special Education Teaching Certification
At least 2 years of school-based experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and
teachers
