Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized
position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
providing essential support to students across multiple school
settings. This role requires travel within the Long Beach, CA area,
offering an opportunity to work with diverse student populations
and make a meaningful impact on their communication and language
development. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and
language assessments for students. Develop and implement
individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate
with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student
progress. Document and maintain accurate records of therapy
sessions and progress reports. Adapt therapy strategies to meet
varied educational environments and student requirements. Provide
consultative support and training to school staff as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid state licensure or
certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working
in school settings preferred. Strong knowledge of speech and
language development and disorders. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to travel locally to different school
sites within the Long Beach area. Flexibility and adaptability in a
dynamic work environment. Location: Position operates within Long
Beach, California, with travel to various schools required.
