Job Description:

* Develop network architecture design solutions for high-availability, enterprise cloud data / transport networks.* Perform research and evaluation of current and emerging technologies in the cloud and data transport field.* Identify strategic opportunities for COTS/GOTS/Custom solutions and future developments to improve the customer's network infrastructure and meet or exceed evolving system requirements.* Engage with the customer's network engineers and provide recommendations for network architecture, technical specifications, network planning, and design associated with relevant company products and functions.* Integrate new capabilities, hardware and firmware upgrades, etc. to align short and long term technology road-maps.* Implement moderately complex O&M functions for network and equipment troubleshooting, and perform analysis of data to optimize the performance of the customer network and company's network equipment.* Operate as a direct management link between company and the customer ensuring proper issue escalation, and communicating / collaborating with company developers and Sr. managers for rapid issue response and resolution related to company products.* Perform Tier IV support of company's advanced secure network equipment, including provisioning, installation, device configuration, management tool installations, and direct support to the customer's enterprise-class network.Job Requirements:* Bachelors in STEM-related field - Math, Physics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent related experience.* Minimum 5+ years of relevant technical experience in the field of network administration or network engineering with an understanding of OSI Layer 2 / 3 networking or adjacent technologies
