ground up. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and
maintaining modern, optimized, and high-performance data storage

will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform,
Load) pipelines using Python, while developing and optimizing data
storage solutions, and ensure data integrity, security and best
practices are followed.The ideal candidate should have a background
in Software Engineering, with a particular focus on Data
Engineering.This position is fully on-site, with no remote work
available.Essential Functions:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL (Extract, Transform,
Load) pipelines using Python.
- Develop and optimize data storage solutions, including
relational and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software
engineers to integrate and process data efficiently.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and governance best practices
are followed.
- Monitor and improve data processing performance and
scalability.
- Work with on-prem platforms to manage data infrastructure.
- Write and maintain tests and documentation for data
architecture, workflows, and processes.SucceedThe individual we

QualificationsPrincipal Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering,
Software Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of related
engineering experience, OR Master's degree in Computer Science,
Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, with 3
years of related engineering experience
- Recent professional experience in data engineering and/or
software development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in SQL for relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL,
MySQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g.,
Git, Docker, etc).
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated
government Secret clearance or higher, and any program access(es)
required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as
determined by the company.Basic Qualifications Sr.Principal
Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering,
Software Engineering, or related field, with 8 years of related
engineering experience, OR Master's degree in Computer Science,
Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field, with 6
years of related engineering experience OR a PhD in Computer
Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
with 4 years of related engineering experience
- Recent professional experience in data engineering and/or
software development.
- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
- Proficiency in SQL for relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL,
MySQL, or similar).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g.,
Git, Docker, etc).
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated
government Secret clearance or higher, and any program access(es)
required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as
determined by the company.Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or
Software Engineering
- 7 years of experience in data engineering and/or software
development
- Experience with C/C++
- Experience with machine learning pipelines and data science
workflows.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with SQL Alchemy, Numpy, Pandas
- Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) for
data engineering.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data queries and
workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a

apply now.Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2:
$137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a
general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of
factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and
responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience,
education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the
position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift
differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as
well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in
Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term
Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of
benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability
insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off
