Job Details Job Details We are currently seeking an experienced Conventional Machinist for our 2nd shift team in the Manufacturing industry. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic, high-tech production environment where you will be a key player in the creation of precision components. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities As a Conventional Machinist, you will be responsible for: 1. Operating conventional manual lathe machines to produce precision parts. 2. Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating and assembly. 3. Setting up and operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers, to cut, bend, block and form, or straighten materials. 4. Inspecting machined parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. 5. Maintaining machinery and work area in a clean and safe condition. Qualifications 1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Conventional Machinist in a manufacturing environment. 2. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with conventional manual lathe machines. 3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications. 4. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to inspect machined parts. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
