We'd love to hear from you!Position Summary:The Referral Manager is responsible for directing, managing and analyzing all Referral Department activities, including the referral process, resolution of problems, tracking of referral metrics and staff supervision. The Referral Manager works closely with internal and external parties to achieve organizational goals and, in particular, a closed loop process for patient referrals.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Health Services, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years' of managerial or supervisory experience in healthcare management, referral management, and/or care management.
• Working knowledge of insurance providers, their portals and their expectations for authorization approvals.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, insurance plans, patient referral procedures, and CPT and ICD codes.
• Knowledge of the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rule.
• Computer literacy working with PC-based software applications and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
