drives strategy for the credit union's payments and card services
departments. They develop strategy and assist with the operation
oversight in the Card Services and Payment Services teams. The Vice
President of Payments works collaboratively with the CFO and
Leadership team to be strategic partner that is forward thinking
while ensuring that risk is being managed while confirming quality
member experience is delivered. They make sure that policies,
procedures, and core processes are effectively being managed and

compliance with applicable laws, regulations and Credit Union
policies and procedures. The VP provides strategic leadership for
all banking and payment-related processes, including clearing and
settlement systems, so as to enable the credit union's achievement
of its objectives Develops budget and strategic plans for the
Payment department that align with organizational goals Develop,
recommend, and implement policies and programs that ensure
organizational compliance Build staff capability within the
division to ensure performance targets are met whilst continually
maintaining employee engagement, risk, quality, regulatory and
procedural standards Design and implement staffing model to ensure
appropriate resource allocation, identifying the processes,
workflows, and technology that drive efficiencies and effectiveness
Liaise with relevant departments within the organization to improve
efficiency of service delivery Design and implement staffing model

across multiple departments (information technology, digital
experience, compliance, member experience and finance) to optimize
digital banking services and decisions that have a direct impact on
back-office operations Periodically conduct benchmarking of key
performance metrics for back-office operations to articulate
improvement areas and drive efficiency within the division
Collaborate with the CFO, Finance, Digital Experience, Information
Technology and Card Services teams in all discussions relevant to
the fiduciary monitoring of electronic payment channels. Oversee
strategies and processes for online banking and all digital payment
vendors, credit and debit card portfolios, and ATM network.
Responsible for internal and external reporting related to Card
Services and Digital Services teams. Resolves the most escalated
financial concerns of credit union members and/or employees with a
goal of retaining membership and reducing risk. Supports Payments
team in assessment, reporting, coaching, training, and improvement
plan recommendations for the organization, departments, and
individuals as needed. Liaisons with third-party Payment team
vendors and represents the credit union at external events.
Oversees all Payment Teams budgets and expenditures. Coordinates
and prepares digital banking, and card services strategies for the
credit union and presents to executive team. Responsible for all
Payments related processes, policies, and procedures including
policies and procedures for member identification and all BSA
requirements. Makes recommendations to executive team for approval.

community and is actively visible at credit union events. Inspires,
motivates, develops and mentors staff to expand their leadership
and technical competencies. Directs, coaches, and hires staff.
Administers performance evaluations and recommends appropriate
personnel actions. Maintains a highly motivated, well-trained and
cross-trained staff. Perform other duties as assigned EDUCATION
and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance,
business administration, economics, computer science or any other
relevant discipline required. 10+ years' experience in banking
operations or payment systems in dynamic and complex organizational
environment is required. Proficient understanding of strategic
planning and product/service development. Salary Range:
