Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Technical Director in the
Specialty Human Services Division.
Key Responsibilities
Manages a significant inventory of complex claims and conducts
thorough investigations
Analyzes and negotiates settlements, participating in arbitrations
and mediations
Develops strategic coverage decisions and ensures accurate
documentation of all correspondence and reports
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and
Insurance, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent
experience
Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial property and
casualty claims handling
Completion of a professional designation such as Associate in
Claims (AIC) preferred
Extensive technical knowledge and skills in product and
industry
Accountable for achieving performance targets and compliance with
legal and regulatory requirements
