Maintains professional standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals. Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the institution.Major Position Responsibilities:The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner. • Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.

  • Qualifications RN Experience:
    • One (1) year Acute Care experience as a Registered Nurse, required.
    • One (1) year Telemetry experience as a Registered Nurse, preferred.
    • Qualifications RN Transitional Experience:
      • Six (6) months Acute Care experience as a Registered Nurse, required.Licenses:
        • Current California RN License, required.Certifications:
          • Current BLS required upon hire; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
          • ACLS within 90 days of hire, required; American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
