-Position Summary:The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional
caregiver who performs patient assessment, develops, implements and
evaluates effectiveness of an interdisciplinary plan of care for
patient populations with various diagnoses. Maintains professional
standards of conduct and ethics as outlined in department
expectations and professional organizations. Provides education to
patients, families, caregivers and other health professionals.
Assists in the supervision of other staff members, students and
volunteers, as appropriate. Demonstrates awareness and sensitivity
to patients'/caregivers' rights, as identified within the
institution. -Major Position Responsibilities: The position
characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities
and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential
functions of the job in a fully competent manner. They should not
be considered as a detailed description of all the work
requirements of the position. The characteristics of the position

safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and
infection control requirements.Professional caregiver who performs

Qualifications RN Experience:One (1) year Rehab experience as a
Registered Nurse, required.FIM documentation experience,
preferred.Qualifications RN Transitional Experience: One year of
full-time experience in an acute care hospital (all departments;
with exception to Surgery). Surgery department would consider
one-year full-time experience in a surgery center.FIM documentation
experience, preferred.Licenses:Current California RN License,
required. -Certifications:Current BLS required upon hire; American
Heart Association Healthcare Provider.Each new hire candidate who
is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug
screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.
