are looking for a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our Urgent

community. About the Job: As a Veterinary Technician Assistant in
the Urgent Care you will be responsible for:Triaging patients
Obtaining and reporting vitals, prioritizing patient treatments and
delegating tasks if neededRecognize changes in patient status and
report to doctorUtilizing different imaging modalities
(radiographs, ultrasound)Administer and monitor patients for
anesthetic/sedation proceduresA great opportunity for growth! Entry

Responsibilities:Serve as intermediary between doctor and client
for non-essential communicationCollect and summarize detailed
histories regarding patients that present through emergency room
following triage with Emergency TechniciansCreate and present
treatment plans to client Communicate between doctors and
technicians what treatments (blood draws, procedures, etc.) need to
be done.Assist doctor with patient related tasks through entirety
of shift. Assist with collecting deposits.Manage consent forms with
client.Document conversations between clients and the attending
doctor.Handle miscellaneous prescriptions requests, client
callbacks, lab work entries etc. About You:High school diploma or
equivalent required; candidates from vocational co-op programs also
consideredAbility to read, write, and speak English is
requiredKnowledge and practical application of basic arithmetic,
including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division is
requiredIdeally 6 months of experience working in a veterinary
hospital setting required. Recent graduates with an Associates or
Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology will be considered or
