Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/14/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: El Centro, CA 92243 Duration: 13 weeks Shift:4x10-Hour Day Shifts (07:00 AM – 5:30 PM) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross:$ 2,966.00Per Week On W2(Taxable):$ 1,720.00Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable):$ 1,246.00 Per Week job Summary: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials. This role requires independent judgment, initiative, and technical expertise to carry out specialized imaging for patient diagnosis and treatment. The technologist will operate PET and NM scanners, ensure radiation safety standards, and provide high-quality patient care across a range of patient populations from adolescents to geriatrics. Key Responsibilities Perform nuclear medicine procedures including PET, Cardiac, SPECT, and bone scans Operate imaging equipment (GE, Siemens) in compliance with safety protocols Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response Start and maintain peripheral IV lines Accurately document and chart using the facility’s system (Any system experience accepted) Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Radiology, Pharmacy, Respiratory, and Rapid Response Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions Participate in self-scheduling; no call or float Experience: Minimum 1 year required / Valid State License Certifications (Required): BLS (Basic Life Support) ARRT (N) CNMT or NMTCB About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
