This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide occupational therapy services to K-12 students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. The role is part-time, running from June 15th to July 10th, located in Whittier, CA. This contract position is ideal for an occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting students developmental and functional needs within a school setting. Key responsibilities include: Delivering individualized occupational therapy services aligned with student IEP goals Collaborating with educators and other related service providers to enhance student outcomes Documenting progress and maintaining clear communication with school personnel and families Implementing therapeutic interventions designed to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks Participating in team meetings and contributing to the overall educational plan for each student Desired qualifications and experience: Valid occupational therapy licensure and qualifications to practice within a school setting Experience working with K-12 students in educational environments, particularly in ESY programs Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and age ranges Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to interdisciplinary team work Located in Whittier, California, this opportunity provides a chance to make a meaningful impact during a critical time of year for extended learning and development.
