Job Description Orion Solutions is working with a large and rapidly growing warehousing/3PL leader. We are searching for an HR Generalist to support the team and be involved with various routine functions. These functions include recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and database management. Responsibilities: Ability to handle day-to-day Human Resources tasks. Recruit for open positions as needed. Assist in scheduling interviews and preparing offer letters. Prepare New Hire and Orientation Packets. Collaborate with Recruiters and the Payroll team to ensure a smooth transition of all new hire data. Collect all paperwork and assist with the compliance of new hire process obligations. Conduct E-Verify checks for new hires and Annual I9 audits. Coordinate background screenings. Maintain the HRIS system this includes creating personnel files and ensuring records are up to date. Assist with performance evaluations for 30-day, 60-day, 90 day and Transfers. Perform with exit interviews. Complete employment verifications within 48 hours of receipts. Process E-Learning Registrations within a 48 hours period. Process Garnishments, accordingly, update garnishment log, and send out appropriate communication to employees Provide payroll support by ensuring all timecards have been processed accordingly by established deadlines. Call and report Workers Compensation claims within 5 days of accident/incident. Provide benefit support during annual benefit open enrollment. Assist employees with questions or issues related to policy interpretation and benefits. Audit and reconcile monthly benefit invoices. Assist with coordination of company events and various HR tasks/projects as needed. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Human Resources field. Demonstrate professionalism and ability to maintain highest level of confidentiality. Prior experience working in HRIS System. Proficient in MS Office Suite. Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Proactive and takes initiative, but a team player. Company Description Orion Solutions Group is a human capital services firm.
