Culture Business Partner. You would be responsible for spearheading
and owning many facets of human resources. Fostering team cohesion
and sustaining a positive, inclusive environment is a shared

people. The essential duties and responsibilities include: Manage
compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws-including
California labor law, regulations applicable to federal
contractors, and employment laws in other states where the company
operates. Serve as a collaborative partner and thought contributor
within the People & Culture team, offering insights, ensuring
P&C best practices, and honoring shared team norms and
decision-making processes. Serve as a trusted partner to managers
and employees by addressing concerns with empathy, consistency, and
fairness-supporting positive employee relations and a respectful,
compliant work environment. Provide guidance to managers and
employees on People & Culture policies, while ensuring alignment
with organizational values. Manage the company's leave of absence
process, serving as the primary point of contact for leave-related
matters. Support and educate employees and managers through the
leave of absence process (e.g., FMLA, CFRA), ensuring a positive
experience and full compliance in partnership with the company's
third-party leave administrator. Oversee and manage ADA
accommodation requests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws
and consistency with internal policies, team norms, and company
values. Coordinate and/or deliver required trainings (e.g.,
anti-harassment, OSHA). Update and maintain the employee handbook
to ensure alignment with current laws, internal policies, and
company culture; partner with legal and internal stakeholders on
revisions and communication. Support employee benefits-related
activities in partnership with the Compensation & Benefits Manager,
including responding to employee inquiries, assisting with open
enrollment, and coordinating with third-party providers to ensure a
positive employee experience. Conduct reference checks and support
elements of the pre-employment process. Collaborate with internal
legal and P&C team members to apply compliant and consistent
employment practices. Support employee file management and audit
preparation activities. Assist with onboarding logistics, employee
data updates, and system-related tasks as needed. Contribute to
People & Culture special projects as assigned (e.g., compliance
audits, process updates, documentation reviews), in alignment with
team norms and priorities. Education and work experience
requirements are: 5 years' experience in Human Resources / People &
Culture Bachelor's degree in human resources, business,
communications, psychology, or related field of study required. PHR
or PHRca strongly preferred Experience working in human resources
department in California required. HRIS experience required.
Paylocity or similar HRIS preferred. To be considered for this

skills, and abilities listed here: Broad understanding of human
resources best practices. Ability to independently research best
practices/legal requirements and make recommendations for
appropriate course of action. Ability to handle sensitive and
confidential information with discretion at all times. Demonstrates
excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work
independently and collaboratively while ensuring proper approvals
received on projects as necessary. Proficiency with Microsoft
Office Suite. Demonstrates excellent organization skills with the
ability to effectively plan and prioritize, including taking
initiative and meeting deadlines. Self-motivated, efficient and
detail oriented. Professional demeanor with a high degree of
flexibility, strong process orientation, analytical and
problem-solving ability, good judgment and strong business focus.
Basic knowledge of office equipment such as faxes, computers,
phones, copiers and printers. Strong collaborative drive and
interpersonal skills. Effective execution and decision making.

requires a regular in-office presence of at least three days per
week to support collaboration and business needs during core hours
of 9am - 5pm. Up to two days per week may be worked remotely in
alignment with TrellisWare's Hybrid Working Model policy, which
also requires flexibility to be onsite any day as needed. While
general availability during core hours of 9am - 5pm is important,
the emphasis is on meeting role responsibilities, delivering
outcomes, and collaborating effectively-not on adhering to a fixed
schedule. Note: Many of TrellisWare's positions require a security
clearance or the ability to obtain one. Security clearances may
only be granted to U.S. citizens. In addition, applicants who

Technologies pays competitively according to the market in an
individual's geographic location, in addition to their
qualifications and experience. The posted range is for individuals
located in the San Diego, CA area. The pay range for this position
