Job Description:
A company is looking for a Database Administrator specializing
in migrating from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of Oracle to
PostgreSQL migration projects
Develop and optimize PostgreSQL databases to meet performance,
availability, and security requirements
Implement database security controls aligned with federal
compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of professional IT experience with cloud
technologies, preferably AWS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field
2+ years of experience migrating enterprise databases from Oracle
to PostgreSQL
Hands-on expertise with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and
Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)
Expert command of SQL, PL/pgSQL, and performance tuning techniques
in PostgreSQL
