The Role This is a full-time, onsite position responsible for participating in a team effort to assemble medical products and maintaining a steady production flow. This position will report to the Director of Operations and the Production Manager. Responsibilities and Job Duties Under the guidance of the R&D and Production Manager, this position will be responsible for the following duties: Solder and de-solder electronic components for through-hole and SMD assembly boards. Soldering, crimping, and assembling cable harnesses. Modify (s) on prototypes and or products as needed. Assist in packaging products for shipment or inventory. Assist with maintaining inventory and general housekeeping of the work area. Working with prototypes/products for modification as needed. Assist the R&D team to assemble prototypes, and or fabrications. Built and make cables and cable harnesses as needed. Familiar with and know electronic components. Knowledge of ESD and handling electronic boards. Responsible for compliance with ESD and ISO. What We Look for In a Candidate The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience with electronic assembly work and utilizing hand-soldering techniques in both through-hole and SMT work. The ability to read diagrams and schematics is a plus. The ability to repair printers is a plus. Strong communication skills. Works well in a team environment. Good organizational skills. A high degree of accuracy and quality in all related work. Ability to complete projects on time. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload. Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Physical Requirements: The ability to perform general physical activities using your arms and legs, and move your whole body. The ability to lift, balance, walk, stoop, and move materials. Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
