Job Description:

Job Description We are seeking a fully licensed clinician to work with the military community, providing assessments and mental health services such as individual, family, couples or group therapy to children and/or adults. Services will be initially provided via teletherapy, due to the pandemic, but will transition to school, home and office setting in the future. The licensed clinician will be responsible for the clinical integrity, assessment, plan and delivery of mental health servicesto the clients. This individual will possess and maintain a full license in the state of California to practice independently at a Master or Doctorate level as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage Family Therapist or Psychologist without restrictions or supervision (i.e. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCP etc.). Benefits: Flexible schedule Vacation time Sick time Paid holidays Medical Insurance 401(k) Requirements: Possessing and maintaining a full license in the state of California to practice independently at a Master or Doctorate level as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage Family Therapist or Psychologist without restrictions or supervision (i.e. LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCP etc.) is a must. Education/Experience: Understanding of military culture and previous experience working with military community highly preferred. Masters Degree in clinically relevant field from accredited university that meets California Licensure requirements. Experience working in school-based mental health program, mental health clinic, private practice or other behavioral health setting preferred. Ability to maintain good interpersonal interactions with clients and other members of the community. Ability to provide support, structure, empathy, sound judgment, and insight into human behavior and family relations. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. Clinical skills appropriate to meet the scope of practice and clinical judgment necessary to implement the treatment plan. Demonstrated ability to be culturally sensitive and respect diversity. Good written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with patients and family members who speak English as a second language. Proven knowledge of behavior modification theories. Knowledge of current counseling theories and best practices, and ability to translate best practices into meaningful, culturally appropriate resources. License/Certification: Possess and maintain a full California license to practice independently at the Master's or Doctorate level as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage Family Therapist or Psychologist without restrictions or supervision (i.e. LCSW, LMFT, LCP, LPC, LPCC etc.).
