direction of Supervisor or designee, assists in workflow,
orientation and education of Patient Mobility Technicians. Provides
assistance to the Healthcare Team in performing complex patient
lifts, transfers, and positioning of patients.

- Maintains a safe,
clean working environment, including unit based safety and
infection control requirements.
- Communicate with
each department Charge Nurse or Manager to ensure the completion of
all shifts’ duties. Periodically checks on all staff during
each shift. Ensures pertinent information is communicated to
- Monitors requests
from department staff for patient lift assistance and dispatches
lift team employees as needed.
- Troubleshoots and
resolves daily problems for departmental staff and other medical
center personnel that occur during the shift.
