**Title:**

Electronic Technician Maintenance III

KBR is looking for a great candidate for the Electronic Technician Maintenance III position to join the team.

This position is to ensure the functionality and proper operability of all existing and newly-installed NIWC Atlantic Marine Corps Electronic Security Systems (MCESS) equipment at MCB Camp Pendleton. MCESS equipment includes automated access control systems, intrusion detection systems, video assessment and recording, early warning (perimeter) detection systems, and mass notification systems. This position will maintain the integrity of MCESS equipment by performing corrective and preventive maintenance as well as configuration and inventory management at each Marine Corps base.

You will serve as an expert in intrusion detection systems that include video (IR and day), access control (card readers and keypads), RADAR perimeter security, intrusion detection (PIR and BMS), mass notification equipment and a variety of communication networks.

Typical duties include:

+ Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on intrusion detection and surveillance systems of various types and manufacturers

+ Recommend solutions to design problems.

+ Perform system tests and analyzing results, modifying equipment or installations to improve performance.

Perform other duties as assigned

**Required Education/Experience:**

+ Associates degree in electronics technology or a two-year civilian technical electronics curriculum or a four-year trade apprenticeship-training program in electronics or graduate of a military Class "A" electronics school.

+ Must have as a minimum, eight years hands-on experience in the field of electronics.

+ Experience must include operational, maintenance and team lead work assignments.

+ Previous Intrusion Detection System experience can be substituted at the rate of one years experience for each year of education required.

**Clearance:**

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.

**Preferred working knowledge of the multiple systems, to include:**

+ AMAG alarm monitoring and access control systems

+ DMP alarm monitor and reporting systems

+ FLIR RADARs and cameras

+ Genetec NVRs

+ Pelco cameras, DVRs, and video switchers

+ Networking protocols TCP/IP, network hubs, switchers, server connectivity

+ Windows Servers

+ Cisco Switches

+ Fiber communication equipment

+ WAVES MNS

+ Southwest Microwave Intrepid fence sensors

+ MS Server, Windows, Cisco, Security + and/or Tower Climber certifications a plus but not required
