Mike Chiesl, our co-founder, has been in real estate for 16 years, and has consistently been at

Born in Minnesota and raised in Texas, Mike graduated from the US Naval Academy where he
started as a linebacker on the football team. After graduation, Mike was commissioned as an

Officer in the Marine Corps. After five years of service and multiple combat tours, he was
awarded the Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal as well as the Navy & Marine Corps
Commendation Medal. His service continues today with many communities and charitable
outreach programs. After leaving the military he appeared on the TV show Survivor where he
finished in the top 6 contestants.

Daniel was blessed to grow up in a military family with military values. With his father a
Vietnam Air Force Veteran, he understood from a young age the importance of hard work,
and commitment to something bigger than himself. In his early career, Daniel launched and
ran large consumer brands, some that you likely know. For a season, he dabbled as a leader in
Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies before the start-up bug would bite again. Most
recently, he started Sentry Residential, which grew out of an immense passion for serving
those who have served. This is a core part of the Mike Chiesl Group in particular.
Mike, along with his business partner Daniel, currently lead a group of 11 agents, marketers,
support staff, and TC’s who actively participate in the business. The team is one of the top
100 real estate agencies in the USA. The company culture could be described as fun, fit,

About the Role

The Mike Chiesl Group is seeking a real estate assistant / transaction coordinator.

Consultant will report to the CEO of Sentry Residential and work closely with him to:

Contractor Expectations

Transaction Coordination

• Oversee all aspects of 20+ simultaneous buyer & seller transactions from executed
purchase contract to close of escrow
• Ensure all client, service provider, transaction details, etc are input into CRM
• Use our CRM to manage workflows for all transactions, and post-transaction processes
• Coordinate title, escrow, lenders, appraisers, inspectors, and other third-party
providers to ensure that deadlines are always achieved
• Send forms through Zipforms and tracking signing statuses
• Depositing checks for all businesses

• Coordinate quotes for repairs after inspections, and if necessary, coordinate
completion of repairs
• Maintain regular communication with clients, agents, title officer, lender(s) regarding
the status of each open transaction and their deliverables
• Maintain all documentation in Realvolve / Google Drive / BackAgent
• Coordinate occupancy
• Write offers for agents on Chiesl team clients
• Providing details on statuses of any transaction to company ownership and party
members as needed
• Track referrals to agents outside of Chiesl & Marelly to ensure payments are received
• Ensure that critical transaction dates and timelines are never missed on either side of
the transaction

Licensed Real Estate Agent Assistant

• Support Mike directly in all buyer representation activities
o Schedule showings for select buyers
o Expect to handle showings personally for some of Mike’s personal buyer clients
o Write offers and present counters/replies to Mike
o Prepare requests for repairs
o Search for and present listings per buyer
• Support Mike directly in all seller representation activities
o Expect to be the 2nd agent on 2 listings per month
o Review pre-listing home inspection with seller to identify which repairs to
complete during or prior to listing
o When offers received call lender and buyer’s agent with a prescribed list of
questions to confirm the validity and strength
o When experienced/trained – negotiate offers on behalf of seller
o Prepare and send comps to appraiser
o Meet appraiser at property if requested by seller
o Negotiate request for repairs with seller and buyer - focus on credit in lieu of
o When trained/experienced attend listing appointments to present the business
and sign-up clients

• Communicate regularly with clients on behalf of Mike at least one per week
• Manage communication on behalf of Mike (emails, texts, voicemails, smoke signals)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years’ experience in real estate
• Can demonstrate a detailed knowledge of Real Estate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Military service or connection to the military
• 5+ years Real Estate experience or knowledge
• Experience as a transaction coordinator
• Experience with CRM and project management tools like Trello
Contractor Compensation:
• Compensation will depend on experience level of applicant
• Compensation will include a guaranteed monthly base plus a bonus per transaction
that closes
