Community Interface Services are seeking a reliable Resource
Counselor to join our team in our Community Integration program. If

position!About Community Interface ServicesWe are a local nonprofit
that has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental
disabilities since 1983. At the core of our services, we believe
that people with intellectual/developmental disabilities are in the
best position to determine how they want to live, and that they
should be valued and included in society. Key Responsibilities As a
Resource Counselor, you will be working with one individual who is
interested in participating in their local community. As you work
together with this person, you will:
- Support them in exploring volunteer opportunities and their
local community
- Plan social and recreational activities to expand on their
network
- Assist with mobility training to increase independence in
accessing the community
- Develop and implement a plan of direct support for their
personal goals
- Document progress, work with a larger team to analyze metrics
and determine future stepsThis full-time human services position
works Monday-Friday from 9 AM-3 PM and earns a competitive starting
wage of $18.50 - $20.50 per hour. Work locations include Oceanside

- College degree or related experience preferred, high school
diploma required
- Experience in behavioral support strongly preferred
- Car in safe working order, vehicle insurance, Valid CA driver's
license, and 2 years of driving experience
- COVID-19 vaccine (and booster if eligible)
