Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Prior Authorization
Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Verify prior authorization requirements and obtain necessary
authorizations
Coordinate required paperwork and clinical notes for submission to
support requests
Follow up on authorization status to ensure timely processing
Required Qualifications
Basic knowledge of payer payment processes and prior authorization
procedures
Familiarity with ICD9/10 and CPT codes, with expert knowledge of
specific therapy codes
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to learn multiple CRM
software programs
Good organizational skills to manage multiple inquiries
simultaneously
Experience in customer service with various stakeholders
