Job Description:

A company is looking for a Social Protection Officer and Microeconomist (Homebased).
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality research and support Country Offices in poverty and inequality reduction initiatives
Contribute to the design of socioeconomic recovery programs and provide technical support on data collection
Collaborate with regional teams and assist in organizing relevant events for knowledge management and advocacy

Required Qualifications

Advanced university degree in Economics, Statistics, Development Economics, or a relevant field, or a first-level degree with additional qualifying experience
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in microeconomic/social protection analysis (or four years with a bachelor's degree)
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic; knowledge of French or another UN language is desirable
Ability to provide technical advice on social protection programming and develop cross-sectoral programs
Demonstrated experience in designing programs/projects related to poverty and inequality
