Job Description:
A company is looking for a Refunds Specialist I - REMOTE.
Key Responsibilities
Processes refunds to patient and insurance accounts and prepares
daily credit balance reports
Maintains knowledge of Managed Care Contracts and Federal payors
while analyzing accounts
Communicates refund issues and ensures compliance with
recording/processing procedures
Required Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or GED required
1-3 years accounts receivable experience in a hospital or medical
setting required
1-3 years experience with Managed Care Contracts preferred
Experience with Federal programs preferred
