The Position
The City of Riverside is seeking qualified applicants for the
position of AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN to fill one (1) vacancy in
the Parks Division of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services
Department. The eligibility list established may be used to fill
the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification
for up to six (6) months.
The Air Conditioning Technician performs skilled tasks in the
installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of mechanical and
electrical systems equipment and fixtures related to the City's
various air conditioning and heating systems.
Work Performed
Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Education: High School graduation or satisfactory equivalent
(GED).
Experience: Three (3) years' experience at the journey level in the
installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and
heating equipment.
Licenses and Certifications:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid Class
"C" California Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Possession of a Refrigeration Recycling Certification issued by the
California Protection Agency.
